Final Thoughts

Article I, Sec 8 of the constitution is un-ambiguous . . .

In the early 1800′s President Jefferson vetoed a bill that would have set aside monies for federal spending on education; in the late 1800′s President Cleveland vetoed a bill that would have spent federal dollars to offset the loss of crops due to drought in the state of Texas . . . both Presidents Jefferson and Cleveland were correct in their rulings.

MY friends, it is a fact that in the last two hundred years the citizens (states) have NOT AMENDED THE CONSTITUTION TO GIVE THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT AUTHORITY TO DICTATE POLICY TO OUR SCHOOLS OR TO SPEND MONEY REBUILDING HOMES AFTER NATURAL DISASTERS OR MUCH LESS REIMBURSING FARMERS AFTER CROP LOSS.

These two powers, and a whole host of others, i.e., health care, Medicaid, Medicare, Insurance and Banking regulations, Wall Street bail-outs are, by rule of law and fact, state issues.

As such, it is a gross injustice that federal funds (meaning your tax dollars) are spent on these many overreaching actions by the national government.

So, why and how do our federally elected officials obtain the power to do so? Quite simply, they just do it, knowing full well that the public is more interested in “bread and circuses” and the more money they bring home, i.e., pork, earmarks, the more votes they will get.

Our (the populace) ignorance of the rule of law, i.e., the constitution, is the very fissure that will lay the groundwork that will result in the destruction of the republic if we do not send a message to Washington that a change of action is in order.

A vote for a third party, Madisonian-Federalist, will do just that . . .

Still, from the detractors, I hear:

“Yeah, right Hill; you and every other third party hasn’t a chance. I intend to vote for the lesser of two evils.”

My response:

“And just where has that gotten you?”

And as a side note to all the “righties” . . .

You know, the so called “real patriots”, those “Reagan Republicans”. Funny how they always seem to conveniently ignore the FACT that their hero did absolutely nothing about the unconstitutional Department of Education, FEMA, Medicare, Medicaid (all state issues), unconstitutional wars and expansion of the imperial presidency.

These actions, of course, are / were not unique to President Reagan. The late presidential advisor Arthur Schlesinger Jr. warned, as did President Eisenhower of this Imperial / Unitary Executive. The arrogance to bypass the checks and balances as set up by the constitution is a recipe for disaster.

“The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.” — James Madison

Face it ladies and gentlemen, your “heroes” from both major parties are selling you a bill of goods that make you feel good while preaching about how much they care about the constitution; and all the while they push unconstitutional government programs that keep a “chicken in every pot” which does nothing more than buy them votes.

Stop the madness now!!!!

Vote Madisonian-Federalist . . .

Vote for the truth, and for what is right . . .

Never forget:

“To see what is right and not to do it is a lack of courage.” — Confucius
